"Comet Melody 2" (original German title: "Kometenmelodie 2") is a track by Kraftwerk from their album Autobahn. The track was released in August 1975, and was named after Comet Kohoutek, which had recently been first seen in March 1973.
The earlier version of the song is "Kohoutek-Kometenmelodie". It was released in late December 1973.
